4 Seasons 4 Heidi

Heidi's favorite piece of music - the 4 seasons by Vivaldi - gave the framework for this personalized dining experience. 4 courses with dishes representing the 4 seasons of the year - prepared, cooked and designed by her 4 grandchildren.

Her birthday is in Spring, so we started with a light appetizer board, for the summer course she could pick fresh cress from the lake to enjoy with her salmon pasta. Fall is the season of preparing for winter and getting a hearty - which was done with a heartful roasted chicken and pumpkin side dish, in Winter she enjoyed her favorite desert chocalate sauce crepes.

The grandchildren changed their costumes for every season and Vivaldi's 4 seasons gave the background music for the family lunch.
